We start our school work tomorrow

After a much needed 2 week break, we start back up tomorrow. I feel pretty ready. I have a month's worth of lessons ready to go. We have our new chore chart up. (www.dltk-cards.com/chart ) The kids are moaning and groaning about having to do daily chores again. I let it slide...then the house became a disaster zone. You know how that vicious cycle goes.
I'm just doing some last minute assignment writing.

Just an FYI, we do our homeschooling schedule a bit differently. My husband doesn't have a Monday - Friday type job. So, we take our 2 days off the same days he has his days off. That way, we have more family time together. We basically work around his work schedule. It works for us...and the kids are learning. So that is all that really matters.

Welcome Homeschoolers!

Right now I'm homeschooling my 9yr old, 7yr old and I have an 18 month old running around. Actually, it's more like climbing, jumping, diving, making messes...learning a little and testing Mom a lot LOL
I started this blog in hopes that it would be of great use to those of you that are searching for lesson plan ideas.
